Ana Maria Polo personal life

Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in the city of Havana, Cuba. The family moved to Miami after she reached 2 years old. Ana was was raised in Cuba's Havana. Her move to Miami with her family around age two after moving out of Havana. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of the prestigious Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. It was also in 2015 ranked as the most popular Spanish-language programming on the air at 4pm in important demos. Polo graduated from Florida International University with a diploma in political science. The place she was born was Havana on April 11, 1959. After that, she earned the PhD in law from the University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo worked in Miami. Following her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo made her debut appearance for the very first time in Telemundo Sala de Parejas in 2001. The other court shows included her legal expertise. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958, she released her story Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. Polo is a breast-cancer survivor and frequently gives speeches to help raise money. She has been an activist for LGBT rights all of her life. Her law degree was awarded in 1987 from the University of Miami School of Law.
